Named after former prime minister Izmir’s Adnan Menderes Airport is located 11 miles south of the city on the way to Selçuk, Ephesus and Pamukkale.
Recently completed in September 2006 Adnan Menderes is bright and airy airport consisting of one large terminal the airport is open 24 hours a day during the summer months with flights charter flights arriving from all over Europe but primarily the UK, Germany and the Northern Europe.
