Is it cheaper to book with you than take a local taxi in resort?

Most definitely - we have negotiated special rates with all our suppliers and through are huge volume of passenger carryings (over 1 million in 2006) our rates are significantly cheaper than our smaller trade counterparts and local airport taxis.

What happens if I find the hotel cheaper elsewhere online?

Key Transfers operate on a “Low Price Guarantee” basis. This means should you find the same deal at a lower rate with one of competitors we will match/beat the price and immediately refund you the difference. Please see our terms & conditions for full information.

Can I make a Group Booking online?

Yes. You can make bookings of up to 50 passengers at one time.

What about Group Bookings requiring several extra stops?

At Key Transfers we have a great deal of experience at handling group reservations and should your group require more than just a return airport transfer then we will be more than happy to help. Simply complete an on-line request form and our Operations Team will make all the planning.

2. Using the Key Transfers Site – Prior to Bookingback to top   Back To Top

How do I make a reservation on the Key Transfers site?

To enable you to make your booking you will be guided through the Key Transfers site and offered selections or prompts for information where necessary. Our site is designed with simplicity in mind to save you time in searching and booking. The steps are as follows:

Search for destination/route and dates required
Step 2:
Review search results and click on the link for more information
Step 3:
Select the transfer of your choice and on our booking page, enter names and payment details
Step 4:
Your reservation will be confirmed and you will receive an email with a voucher to present to the hotel upon arrival.

How safe are my credit card details?

For secure online payment, we use Secure Socket Layers (SSL) to ensure the privacy of the information provided to us and at no time are your debit/credit card details transmitted unencrypted over the internet. For further information, please refer to our privacy policy.

How long does it take to process my reservation request?

Instantly, all services offered on our site are available at that present time. Key Transfers do not sell on a “request” basis.

What are the Key Transfers Reservations & Emergency contact numbers?

Emergency: The emergency number relevant to your destination will be printed on your documentation.

How do I know that I can trust Key Transfers and that it is a legal trustworthy company?

How do I locate my driver or vehicle?

Once you have completed your on-line booking you will automatically receive a screen confirmation together with an email giving you exact instructions for meeting your driver or vehicle.

What happens if I cannot find my driver at the airport?

Firstly call the telephone number as per your booking confirmation, where our advisors will direct you to your driver.

How long will I have to wait at the airport? What about flight delays?

Your private transfer or Limo vehicle will normally be at the airport for the scheduled arrival time of your flight. We monitor flight arrival times so as to be waiting for you when you arrive. Shared shuttle clients will always be put on the next available transfer. Customers should not expect to wait more than 45 minutes for the next available transfer.

Does my shuttle or private transfer drop me at the door of my accommodation?

Yes, as long as it is a “touristic” hotel or apartment we will drop you at the door( unless the road is too small for the coach to negotiate). Shuttles however do not drop passengers at private address’s, but can drop you at the nearest hotel or apartment complex. If you are a customer that require a transfer to a private address ie Villa, then we recommend our range of private taxi transfers. Please use our search facility on the homepage of this website, for a price that will please you.

Are the rates on your site per person or per transfer?

Shuttle transfers are quoted as per person and all other transportation including private taxis are quoted per vehicle.

Will I get charged a booking fee?

No, the Key Transfers service is completely free to use.

What currency is shown on your site?

All prices shown on our site are in GBP – British Pounds, unless specifically stated otherwise.

Can I make reservations on the Key Transfers site without registering?

Yes. You can make bookings without registering but we recommend that you do in order to receive our regular newsletter and gain access to exclusive offers. It only takes a moment to subscribe and you can unsubscribe at any time. Simply click on the newsletter section on our homepage, or click here.

Do you offer child discounts?

On private transfers, infants and children do count as one person as they take up a seat belt place. We recommend parents take their own child seats to ensure adequate safety in foreign countries. As with car rental policy it is also the parent’s responsibility to fit the seat. Most airlines do not charge for the carriage of child seats and pushchairs.
There is no charge for infants aged under 2 years who are travelling on shared shuttle services, provided that they do not require their own seat.

Can I make a Group Booking online?

Yes. You can make bookings of up to 50 passengers at one time.

No, via our website it is not possible. You will have to book through the organization issuing the voucher.

What do you do with my personal information?

We take the issues of privacy and security very seriously. At Key Transfers we ask only for information that is strictly necessary to make your booking. We protect any personal details submitted to us. For your further peace of mind, please refer to our privacy policy.

Who has access to my personal information?

At Key Transfers we DO NOT pass your details to any other organisation for marketing or similar purposes. The only details Key Transfers passes on are your contact telephone number and e-mail address, along with your booking details (specified by you when booking), and these are only passed on to the accommodation establishment you booked in case they need to contact you at all regarding your booking. What credit or debit cards do you accept?

We take the following cards: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Switch and Solo. In the near future we plan to take Diners Club, Eurocard, Delta and JCB and our website will be updated accordingly. We also accept cheques, although please bear in mind that your booking cannot be confirmed until the cheque has cleared.

How safe are my credit card details?

Can I pay with more than one credit card?

Yes. You are able to provide payment with multiple credit cards. If you require to pay using more than one credit card, please select the pay by phone option once you have reached the payment page during the booking process. Please do not enter a credit card online but call the number displayed to provide the details of all credit cards needing to be charged. If you wish to alter a credit card after it has been charged, and the booking completed, a fee will apply - see booking conditions.

At what stage will the money be debited from my credit card?

When you have reviewed and confirmed your booking, the money will automatically be debited from your credit card account.

I don't have a credit card, can I pay cash on arrival?

We are not allowed to accept cash at the airport, nor are our driver’s. All bookings through our service require pre-payment by credit card only.

How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?

Once you've completed your hotel booking, your reference number will be displayed on the screen. We will also email you your booking confirmation, which will show your complete itinerary and your Key Transfers reference number. This email also includes a voucher to be printed and presented to your hotel on arrival as proof of your reservation.

Do I receive a voucher for my booking?

Yes, by email along with your booking confirmation. You need to print this booking confirmation voucher and take it with you to present to the driver at the arrival airport desk or as instructed otherwise on the document. It doesn't need to be printed in colour, a black and white copy is sufficient.

Can I use my credit card with an international billing address?

Yes, you can. But please be sure to complete your address in full, where required.

When is my final balance due and how do I pay it?

Your final balance is due X weeks before departure and this can be paid by credit / debit card calling our accounts department or by sending a cheque to us.

I want to pay my balance now – how do I do it?

You must contact us to pay your balance. At the moment we do not have facilities to take balances online. You can either pay by card over the telephone or send us a cheque.

Is Key Transfers VAT registered?

Yes, we are VAT registered. Should you require a VAT invoice, please request one online when making your booking.

Do you offer child discounts?

I have made a spelling error, or have entered the title or initial incorrectly. Who do I contact to rectify?

No problem – simply complete an amendment form here. We will not charge you for a change of titles, names or initial but you must notify us at least at least 48 hours prior to arrival at the hotel. New documentation will be issued accordingly and emailed to you prior to your departure.

Can I change my dates?

Subject to availability, YES you can change the dates of your booking. However, we may charge you an amendment fee, please refer to our terms and conditions for full details. Please complete an amendment form here.

Can I make a name change before I travel?

No problem – simply complete an amendment form here. We will not charge you for a change of titles, names or initial but you must notify us at least at least 48 hours prior to arrival at the hotel. New documentation will be issued accordingly and emailed to you prior to your departure.

I need to add another passenger to my booking?

Subject to availability and vehicle occupancy passengers can be added to existing bookings. Please note however, in some cases it may be required to increase the size of your transportation and therefore incurring a supplement that will apply to all passengers. Please complete an amendment form here.

I have had a flight change/ I have changed my flight arrangements

It is important that we are aware of your flight details and arrival time. Should these alter for any reason then please notify us at least 48 hours prior to departure. Please complete an amendment form here.

How can I cancel my booking?

Please note that all cancellations must be made in writing or via email by completing a cancellation form here. Please note that all cancellations are subject to our terms and conditions.

How much will I be charged if I cancel my booking?

Please refer to our terms and conditions for full details of our cancellation charges.

What happens if I need a refund?

Key Transfers will credit your refund directly to the credit/debit card that was used to pay for the booking. We do not store your credit/debit card details on our website, but the bank will be able to identify your account from the booking reference number.

Do I receive a voucher for my booking?

Yes, by email along with your booking confirmation. You need to print this booking confirmation voucher and take it with you to present to the driver at the arrival airport desk or as instructed otherwise on the document. It doesn't need to be printed in colour, a black and white copy is sufficient.

What if I lose my voucher and or booking reference number?

Please contact us at help@keytrips.com and we will be happy to email you duplicate copies.

Is there a special number I can phone if I have a problem with the transfer?

Yes – a local contact number is printed on the voucher as well as our overseas contact number in case of emergencies. Please read the “Problems and Complaints” section in our Terms and Conditions.

How long will I have to wait at the airport? What about flight delays?

Your private transfer or Limo vehicle will normally be at the airport for the scheduled arrival time of your flight. We monitor flight arrival times so as to be waiting for you when you arrive. At Key Transfers our team will ensure that all your requirements are met regardless of how complicated they may appear. You will receive the contact details for your chosen hotel once your booking is processed should any further needs arise.

Passports – are there any passport restrictions?

For UK citizens please ensure that you have a current passport with at least 6 months validity, prior to your travel dates. For all other nationalities please contact your local embassy office.

How do I confirm my resort pickup time?

If you have a private transfer this will normally be confirmed to you prior to departure by email. For shuttle transfers you will be provided with a reconfirmation number that you will need to ring 24 hrs prior to your departure from resort.

Can I have the driver's mobile number?

No. If you have any problems contact our central reservations number.

I have lots of luggage, a mountain bike, golf bags electric wheel chair etc. Will there be room?

Each passenger has an obligation to inform us of such items by email or fax and we will make the necessary arrangements. However extra charges may be applicable.
N.B. WE DO NOT CHARGE AND DO CATER FOR NON-MOTORISED WHEEL CHAIRS.

Can we stop off at the supermarket on route?

By prior arrangement on a private transfer only, although not at peak times - a supplement may be applicable.

Is the transfer direct or do we stop en route?

Private transfers are direct, door-to-door. Shared transfers may stop to either pickup or drop off other clients en route.

Does the driver speak English?

All  drivers used speak (at least some) English. Occasionally we are obliged to use a local taxi firm, in which case we cannot guarantee the driver will speak English.

Do I have to share a vehicle with other people?

No, if you book a private transfer. Yes, if you book a shuttle transfer.

I do not have a resort address, can you drop me off at the tourist office?

If you do not specify a resort address, you will be dropped off and picked up at the tourist office.

Once your booking is confirmed you will be issued with a “booking reference” and notified by email.

How do I register on your web site?
